Designed for repairs of any size, 5 STAR Acrylic Lacquer Primer is the perfect combination of performance and versatility! 5 Star Hi-Solids Acrylic Lacquer Primer Surfacer is a fast drying, high build, easy sanding primer surfacer that offers good color hold out, good filling characteristics outstanding feather edging, minimal shrinkage, and great adhesion to properly prepared substates such as steel, aluminum, galvanized metal and thorough sanded cured paint. This primer can be topcoated with any automotive paint system. There are no pot life limitations with this Primer Surfacer. However,occasional stirring may be needed to keep a uniform mix. Keep lid closed to prevent solvent evaporation.

The addition of reducer makes it a great 2K sealer, and it’s black color provides a neutral base to paint over. Direct to Metal Primer - Does not require a self-etching primer, eliminating extra labor, time, and gun clean-up costs! Primer Filler - As a high build filler this product is capable of 2.5-3.0 mils per coat requiring less coats per application. Combined with easy sanding, this product will reduce repair time and increase shop productivity! Primer Sealer - The addition of urethane reducer or acetone makes 5424 an excellent primer sealer.
